I was involved with building our last Battle of the Kings bike “Old Blue” and that’s a tough one to beat so decided to take a different approach this year. “Time” takes in three key points relating to Harley-Davidson: past, present and the future. To fit a springer front end to the new Softail frame had its challenges – it’s something, we think, that hasn’t been done yet. “Time” is also fitted with a Fat Boy tank and Turbine wheels.
The Breakout frame has also been lowered 35mm and some FXDR parts applied to the engine. The rear fender has been cut to expose the 240-section rear tyre and make way for the four crazy exhaust end-pipes to work with the Heavy Breather air inlet and the awesome 114ci Milwaukee-Eight engine. The paintwork is a fantastically finished carbon dip with pin striping and Street Bob badges airbrushed in orange.
